Hank Johnson: Could Guam Tip Over?

If this happened yesterday (April Fool’s Day), I would have thought it was a joke… Unfortunately for Representative Hank Johnson (D-GA), this happened last Thursday! It seems he is the joke, not what he was saying. After expressing concern that Guam could capsize, he went on to compare ignoring this threat to the dire situation we find ourselves in with manbearpig! Oh, sorry, I meant Global Warming.

See below to watch Representative Johnson query Navy Admiral Robert Willard (head of the Pacific Fleet) about the risk of Guam tipping over from the addition of 8000 Marines. He went into fairly good detail, surmising that the small size of the island along with its wide girth would add to the threat of it falling over into the ocean. Perhaps we shouldn’t ignore Johnson’s concerns, maybe it is possible that 8000 additional Marines performing jumping jacks may cause earthquakes like we’ve never seen.

Is anyone else noticing the outright arrogance of this administration? They are completely ignorant of public opinion (not to mention the constitution). Obama’s victory speech tried to say that America was listened to and he delivered what they wanted. Has he not seen the polls? Is he truly that far out of touch with reality or is he getting bad intelligence data from someone?

Then you have Jessie Jackson giving a smug look at tea partiers and grabbing at their signs, clearly attempting to bait them.

Al Sharpton understands what Obama’s change means. The man is claiming that Americans voted overwhelmingly for the way Obama is transforming the country, and if it is Socialism, so be it. His delivery is amazingly smug

Candian Healthcare: ObamaCare Model

PJTV produced a good feature on Canadian healthcare. It’s such a wonderful system that the proposed healthcare system is greatly modeled off of it. Take a look at the video to see what a fantastic healthcare system it is. It is a great view into what is coming. After watching it, I bet you’ll be unable to wait for the additional health issues due to delayed care, the extra taxes upon taxes, and the even more expensive “private option” (if you can afford it that is)!

Cincinnati Coffee Party Needs More Caffeine

According to a report from Canada Free Press, turnout for the coffee party weekend was subdued. GateWay Pundit reports that the St. Louis coffee party turnout was a total of 30. Compare that to the 2,225 that turned out to the “Kill the Bill” rally down the road in St. Charles. You can also see the 5 people that showed up to a North Carolina Coffee Party.

Cincinnati appeared to fare better, but not much. Judging from their photos, they appeared to get somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 attendees. Compare that to the turnout of the Cincinnati Tea Party, which was estimated at 7000. It is clear where the majority of the public stands on issues that increase the cost and authority of government

The Coffee Party Astroturf Movement

Look closely everyone… it isn’t real grass roots, it is astroturf!!! That’s right, the coffee party movement that you’ve probably heard spouted about in the media isn’t really a movement with a lot of commonality in the teaparty movement. In fact, Left Coast Rebel has uncovered that many of the founders have their roots in some rather scary anti-capitalist movements. I highly recommend checking out that link, Rebel has been keeping it updated with all the latest finds.

I’m not sure about anyone else, but this coffee movement hasn’t been going long and it already seems quite stale. I can’t help but see the astroturfed members of it as being little more than bitter… Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Calling them coffeebaggers just doesn’t work
