Stocks Plunge in Response to Obama’s Address

Wall Street opened sharply lower the day after Obama’s Address to Congress. According to Reuters, Wall Street was looking for tangible items in the address but were given none.

Wall Street has seemed to view Obama unfavorably for some time. On Nov 4, the market closed at 9,625.28. As of this posting, the market is 7198.17, a loss of more than 25%. It’s hard to say if it is the lack of a tangible path or if it is the direction of the path itself that the market is frightened of.

Trust me, it’s the socialist path we’re taking. Great blog. I can’t stand Nobama.

I loved listening to Obama last night, I usually do. He is inspiring and gives people hope for the future. The path won’t be easy, it’s been going down hill for so long; but he is on the right track.

I was especially inspired hearing him talk about education. Parents do need to turn off the TV, kids do need to stay in school and graduate, our drop out rate is far too great. We do need to call people to action.

Volunteer for the good of others, you are rewarded in many ways. One way, his plan for them to get some help with a college education.

Stocks didn’t plung because of what he said, they have been plunging and plunging….and yes I know things started going south even before gw…but enough of the fat cats. I vote for middle America, thats where the future of the country is.

hey sandy,,,you speak of the fat cats above. can you give me their party affiliation please????? with a democratic controled congress as it was under gw it’s amazing that the dem’s put all the blame on the one man who couldn’t control the congress. wake up and take notice that the liberal spending has got to stop. when this country was formed the word democrat was something you called someone sneaky and not very well liked….things are still the same. how do ya feel about your grandkid’s grankid’s payin for this stupid stimulus, which by the way, you haven’t seen the last of it either. let’s just keep prining money, ok. ya, that’ll solve all our problems wont it????
