This bill has been rushed because it is what Obama wants. He knows people are blind to the long term outcome of all this spending. Our government refuses to listen to the people and seem to just go in any direction they please. They need to be reminded that they work for the people, and they should be sent home. 2010 is approaching soon. Remember that time he stood on the floor of the House and cried? In all seriousness, though... How many members of Congress do you think actually read all the bills they vote on? Let me tell you: very few. Most of the time they just vote the way their party leaders or their staffs tell them to vote. This particular bill has been wending its way through Congress for over a month now. If any Congress Critters had wanted to read it they could have read it.
