Most Viewed Election Video on YouTube

BBC News posted an article awarding the title of most viewed YouTube 2008 Campaign video to “Dear Mr. Obama.”  The video has amassed over 11 million views since its posting 2 months ago.  The message is clear and given by an Iraq veteran.

    Did you know that this message, though _delivered_ by a veteran, was written by a conservative video producer who went looking for a narrator? (“Gee, if I could find an amputee, that would be great!”) Kinda cuts the impact, for me.

    So if a candidate uses a speechwriter instead of writing their own speeches (or infomercials), it means less?

    You still have to believe what you are saying to say it. And with the conviction this veteran says it with, it’s clear he believes every single word.

    As if the soldier was forced to do this? nice try. Military support is 70% in favor of McCain. And the majority of the 30% is black troops voting race. The military supports McCain because he’s the best choice to support the military. Support the troops, by supporting McCain. Anything else is liberal lip service.
