I am certainly no fan of Obama, but it has nothing to do with his race. I believe racism is wrong (and it also goes both ways). I’m not sure if this report is for real or if it is someone just trying to get a rise out of people, but either way it’s wrong.
An Ohio resident has hung an effigy of Obama in a noose on his property (video below). While I respect everyone’s right to express themselves, this makes me disgusted. It is sad to see this happen in our state. And, look at this blog posting and see this blog report to observe the two-way nature of this rediculous nonsense. Sorry folks, but this outlandish racism needs to stop from both parties!

William F Buckley (a true Conservative) is dead now. That is unfortunate for the Rebublicans. He spoke about the need for this Party to distance itself from the extreme Social Right platform. Unfortunately, the Pubs did not heed the warning. He spoke about many issues that were stalwart platforms of the ORIGINAL Conservative Movement.
WFB is the Father of the Modern Conservative Movement.
I admire his passion and doggedness even though I do not agree with most of his idealogy.
However, he did invision a Rebublican Party that was and did become a socially restrictive pariah on society and this, he surmised, would distract and distort the original message. Well, we can all safely say, this vision has been revealed to all of us. “I did not leave the Republican Party. The Republican Party left me”
Unfortunately for the McCain/Palin ticket, they are victims (literally) of their own party in many ways. Oh, let’s count the ways shall we. First, McCain chose to utilize the same political operatives that KILLED HIM in the 2000 election. Not too smart. Pubs must keep in mind that PUBS EAT PUBS at any cost. Face it Pubs, you guys eat your own.
Doubt me? Then answer to the skinning Chris Buckley got by backing Sen. Obama and then compare that to being stoned like a Saudia Arabian woman in the square at noon for showing her face in public!!
OK. CB didn’t die like the U.S “Allied” country’s female citizen did but one can possibly see the lashings nevertheless by the fringe Wing Nuts.
McCain/Palin talk in their stump speeches about Bill Ares, the preacher William Wright, Acorn, yada, yada, yada.
Folks, wake tfu about all of this will you please!!!! The Pubs have ruled this country presidentially, and in Congress (circa-2 years), FOR THE LAST 8 YEARS. Our less then esteemed Pres. GW and Cheney and Rumsfeld and Rove and Co are the ones who have driven ALL of us into the ground with American Soldier’s lives because of an arrogant and self serving political and financial purpose.
4000 plus soldiers lives plus thousands of Iraqi’s lives, plus hundreds of Allied soldiers lives have been EXPEDIENTLY lost. We are finacially so screwed up that people are committing suicide because of this debacle as we speak.
Bush was selected Pres.based on a crooked election and unfortunately again he was elected in 2004. After watching the current election situation with the voter suppression going on in Ohio and other swing states, I understand conpletely now just how the Pubs pulled off the previous 2 elections and how they are desperate to do the same this time. Folks, it’s late and I am tired but I urge you all to see for yourselves just how slimey these Pubs are, have been in the past, and are now, to get their guy elected. I urge you to take the time to learn all about the voter suppression tactics taking place under the guise of “ACORN voter fraud”. Folks, the fraud is NOT with Acorn. It’ with the Pubs attempt to supress votes in key battleground states by questioning voter registration procedures (like Acorn) so that those registrations will be (hopefully) thrown out. Check out the Justice Department’s few brave folks who are speaking out on this tactic. Word up folks. the mass registrations in the last 3 presidential elections have benefited Democrats. However, the Pubs legal moves have shutdown those areas of the country (FLORIDA, OHIO), etc where the Pubs were successful in DROP SHIPPING legal teams to question ballots during the close presidential elections of the past 8 years. Any state where they can raise questions, they will challenge the legality of those votes, just like in OHIO and Florida and some other states during 2000 and 2004.
Yes, the Pubs are dirty and they can’t stand to lose and unfortunately, most of the racist in this country are seemingly Pubs and willing to vote for an old angry var vet inspite of the fact that he and his Political party represents all that frustrates this same herd of sheep. Yes, I know it’s dumbfounding but true. The Pubs put this country in this condition, and yet the angry, poor and disfranchised folks are going to hold the very party that got them here, near and dear to their hearts.
Reminds me of the “unimformed” German citizens that applauded A. Hitler as he marched through Poland and Eastern Europe. Then, when the Allies revealed the concentration camps to the citizens of Germany, they had a mixture of emotions. DUMBFOUNDEDNESS,SHAME and DENIAL.
McCain speaks about the dire consequenses of the democratic process being compromised if votes are fraudulant?? Folks, word up. The Pubs are doing a classic “slight of hand on you”. They are once again crying voter fraud all the while they are attempting, for the 3rd time, the biggest theft of the presidency before your very eyes. Why you say?? Cause if Pubs can’t be in control legitemately, by “GOD” they are going to steal this election from Senator Barack Obama.
Bush’s approval rating right now is 25%. That is the lowest in history since Pres. Truman. For all of you who voted for this smuck Bushie once or, God forbid twice, how ,many of you are still willing to admit those votes??
I didn’t think so. Well, now is your chance to psychologically redeem yourself. If you are a thinking person, if you are one who will not find yourself on one of those Right Wing McCain/Palin Blogs that talks about hanging Senator Obama from a tree or the food stamp thing with the chicken/watermelon stupid bs then there is hope for this country yet. The Pubs are inciting hate people. We better wake up and smell the chaos or we will be crying one day when we pick up the paper or turn on the TV and see that some Pub nut case got between the secret service and Senator/President Obama and……………….
Heck, I’ll freely admit I voted for Bush twice (sorry to shock you into the reality that people will freely admit that). As with most elections, it comes down to the lesser of two evils. I wasn’t about to vote for Kerry or Gore. I’m in the same situation with this election. McCain hasn’t been a true Conservative in his career, but he’s a whole lot better than the alternative. I doubt anyone will find a 100% match for them in any election. My favorite from a platform standpoint was Thompson, but he didn’t have a prayer.
And, every single point you make about the Republicans are the same for the Democrats (I’d do the classical ‘rats and Nobama thing like you do with “Bushie” and “Pubs” and such, but that’s just lame). Let’s take uninformed voters for instance. I’m sure you’ve heard this beauty from The Howard Stern Show. These Obama supporters seem to agree with McCain’s views and attribute them to Obama. How much more obvious can it be that these voters are totally uninformed? For crying out loud, they thought Palin was Obama’s running mate! Are you able to admit that the knife cuts both ways? I’m intellectually honest, so I can. There are uninformed voters on both the left and the right. I’m hoping you can admit that to yourself as well.
Democrats run on fear just as much as Republicans. Evil Republicans are going to take your Social Security. Evil Republicans are going to keep you from getting health care. Evil Republicans have no exit strategy in Iraq. Heck, I can go as simply as looking at the last sentence in your post. These are no different than the Republican platforms other than the topics. Again, this cuts both ways.
You can’t honestly think stopping illegitimate votes is disenfranchisement. In Ohio alone there are 200,000 questionable registrations. There is no question in any reasonable person’s mind that every vote should both be counted *AND* verified as valid. I have no problem with every vote counting, I do have a problem when I see that quite a few people were bribed to register multiple times.
And honestly… The whole Bush stole the election thing again? How many times does this need to be debunked? Unfortunately, it seems a good chunk of your anger is based on this flawed belief. Oh yes, you forgot that Gore also “DROP SHIPPED” (to use your terminology) legal teams in the close races as well. You might be surprised to learn that all politicians do that in close elections. It’s a wise move to make sure that legal precident is followed, and who is better to do that than your legal team? Thankfully, even after investigation after investigation, legal precidents were followed in Ohio and Florida. Good thing both Bush and Gore sent legal teams!
I should also point out that things such as street money are ways to steal the election. And here we are with Obama doing this very thing. There should be no exchange of money for someone’s vote. People need to vote out of their own passions, not because someone is going to pay them money! I’m all for giving rides to the polls for those who can’t afford to drive themselves, but there is no reason you should buy someone’s vote. Are you up in arms about this act of voter fraud? This sort of thing is slimy, verifying that a vote should be valid is not slimy.
The Democrat controlled Congress’ approval rating is at a historic low of 15%. Yes, that’s worse than President Bush’s rating. And yes, I do mean the lowest rating of all time when I say “historic low”. Not the lowest since 1950 or anything like that, I mean the lowest ever.
A vote should come down to your beliefs versus those of the candidates running. Yes, it’s really as simple as that. And votes should be counted as long as they are legal. There’s nothing slimy about making sure that voters are entitled to vote (sorry, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck shouldn’t be voting). Don’t be intellectually dishonest and support invalid votes simply because they likely support your candidate. I don’t support any invalid votes, regardless of who they support. The election should be decided by valid voters, not by election fraud.
So, what’s your take on hanging an effigy of Palin?
http://cbs2.com/local/Sarah.Palin.mannequin.2.849299.html
Equal horror as you showed at hanging Obama?
I assume you’re referring to Stonewall62. I already posted the RWNJ view (link in trackbacks).
I just think that this is freedom of speech. I dont care that they hung and effigy of obama or palin or if they would do that to me. It should have nothing to do with race, but then neither should this election. Race is the cheapest card that can be played.
